Let’s Believe Survivors: A Workshop Of Information, Support And Hope
For Survivors of Sexual Abuse And Their Supporters
Looking At: Shame, Thinking Patterns, Memories, Pleasure, Sexuality and Healing
Date: Saturday 25th April 2026
Time: 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm
Venue: This workshop will be held on line.
Fees: People working: £45 or £35 (Early Bird before 25th March 2026)
People on a low income: £20.00
We are happy to be able to offer discounts to students and those on low incomes.
We will be focusing on how being abused may impact certain aspects of how Survivors relate to themselves and others. The workshop is open to all genders and is held in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere with time for sharing and discussion plus extensive handouts.
Workshop Aims Include:
- Breaking out of isolation and meet others in a safe space
- Processing Shame: and Submissive Behaviour
- Shifting Stuck Thought Patterns
- Unpacking Pleasure Avoidance and Sexual Confusion
- Strategies for Traumatic Memories and Flashbacks
- Reflecting on Healing and Integration
Safe for Survivors and Partners
Relevant for counsellors/mental health professionals
The workshop is also open to mental health professionals who are supporting people who have experienced abuse and to partners or friends of people who have experienced abuse. We have received some excellent feedback from professionals about how the workshops have given them valuable tools in their work with Survivors. We give CPD Certificates on request.
