Resilience – The Key To Success! Just Ask The  England Women’s Football Team   Recently updated !


If the England Women’s Euros Win spoke to us about anything it has to be about Resilience. Physical and Emotional resilience. Resilience  is the ability to bounce back from life’s setbacks, adapt to change, and keep going even when things feel tough. Importantly perhaps resilience is not a talent we are born with but something we can develop. That can say so much to us when we are working through the incredible difficult emotional pain and damage of sexual abuse and violence towards health and recovery.  Sometimes we may feel that we can’t continue in our journey and we have taken a step back.  What can we do then?  I think it is then the time to perhaps reframe the set back and instead ask ourselves – what can I learn from this situation?  Is there anything here that I can take and help me to move on?  Is there something that next time I can do just a little bit differently? Is there someone I can reach out to that will help me to move forward. 

We may not all be able to play football like Chloe Kelly but we can all build resilience as we work towards reaching  our own personal goals.
